Tatty Twinkle

Firstly, I would like to apologise for being a very bad blogger this year. I have barely posted and have rarely had the chance to visit your blogs. :-(  I hope that the new year sees much better health all round in my house!

So, on to my last post of the year. This was my last card for the Papercraft Essentials competition. I have used a Tatty Twinkle stamp teamed up with papers from the Romance and Roses collection from NitWit Collections.

I used a couple of tag sentiments from LOTV and the Magnolia DooHickey fence die.
And finally,
I would like to say a big thank you to Annette for encouraging me to go in for the competition - I needed a bit of a push :-)

Thank you for coming to see me this year, I really appreciate it. I hope the next year brings all good things! Hugs, Jayne  xxxx

Runner Up at Papercraft Essentials :-)

This was one of my entries for Papercrafter of the Year in Papercraft Essentials. I had assumed that this along with the windmill I made had not floated the judge's boat as the closing date was back in November. I was one happy bunny at the weekend when I bought the magazine to see that I had come runner-up!
I made this ages ago and am in asleep deprived haze (Isis is poorly again) and so am very foggy on details. The papers are from Raspberry Road - I think it's the White Christmas collection. The poinsettia is from Spellbinders and the image is one of my favourite  Lili of the Valley images.

I doubt I'll get to post again before Christmas so I will take this opportunity to say thank you for all your support this year; at times it's kept me going! Hope that you have the best Christmas. Sending hugs, Jayne xx

What, no embellishments!!!!!

I made this card for the lovely Squirrel's Without Words 'Modern Christmas' challenge. CAS cards bring me out in a rash, but it's important to keep giving them a go - the challenge does me good. Probably.

How funny is this image? I love it ;-) It's called Monster Christmas and is from the digi stamp boutique and is a super bargain at 99p. The papers are from the Polar Pals collection over at NitWit Collections.
My daughter found the card in my pile of finished cards and asked if I would send it to her for Christmas - what other seal of approval do I need!

My little girl has I hope now turned a corner and her chest infection is hopefully improving. I've never known her to be this poorly and it's been really stressful. Of course, now I have it :-(

I've put a ramshackle collection of craft items on ebay if you're interested!

Time for the school run. Biggest of hugs, thank you for popping by. Jayne xx

ALBC Anything Goes - except Christmas!

Apologies for another super quick post - I was awake most of the night with my youngest daughter and am hoping to get her to the doctors this morning!

It is with a very heavy heart I have to tell you that this is the last ALBC challenge.  Sniffles all round. I must say a huge thank you to Paula for having me as part of her fabulous DT - I am very grateful. It has been such a happy time to be part of such a fabulous family.

This is my offering for the Anything Goes (except Christmas).
I made the Windmill using the Dreamees Templates and More 2 CD. This is such a fab set of projects and papers and I'm really grateful to Carol and Hayley for sending it to me. The papers are from the delish Romance and Roses collection from NitWits.
This was one of my entries for the Papercraft Essentials Cardmaker of the Year - it didn't wow the judges but it has to be the thing I have most enjoyed making this year and it reminded me of why I took up crafting in the first place.
I finished it off with a super cute Magnolia image.

Right, that's me. Fingers crossed I get a doctor's appointment.  Hope you can join us for this last ALBC challenge. Sniff. Sniff.  Hugs, Jayne xxx
